savings-ahead (1)

In order to increase activity and delivery of energy savings in target sectors and technologies, OEH are offering short term increases to the subsidies available. These will be to approved businesses for Level 2 Audits and Measurement and Verification (M&V) activities until 30th April 2014.

OEH were originally offering a 50% subsidy on level 2 audits, and up to $4,000 project management support for implementation has increased to a maximum of $8,000.

For measurement and verification (M&V) projects, OEH will continue to offer 100% subsidy in target sectors and technologies.

OEH will also be providing a small number of free natural gas audits in relevant sectors and technologies. These must be projects where natural gas is the main focus of the audit, and in cases where these are not this would fall under the $5,000/50% subsidy. LPG audits also fall under the $5,000/50% category for subsidy.

These offers are available to businesses approved by OEH and contingent on the following being completed prior to 30th April 2014.

  • Completed and signed application form received by OEH
  • OEH approved proposal
  • Where possible the audit should be finalised by 30th June 2014.

To be eligible for these subsidies the projects must be listed in the approved technologies or sectors.

Government buildings, lighting projects, businesses outside of NSW and EEO obliged businesses are not included in the scope of the program however, M&V projects can include EEO companies.
